Veal calves came forward in large numbers, and sold at fully late rates. Heavy sold at from £4 5s to £5 13s, medium weight £3 to £4 4s, lighter £2 to £2 18a, smaller 20s to 38s, fresh dropped 3s to ,18s. Sheep came forward in average numbers, and sold at improved prices. Bust wethers sold at from 28s to 31s 9d, others 22s to 27a 9d. A draft of wethers from Mr A. Main, Tamabere, averaged 30s 9d. Heavy owes 23b 6d to 28s, others 20s to 22s 9d, hoggets 16a 9d to 20a. Pips cime forward in full numbers and sold at fully late rates. Baconers £3 to £5 15s, large porkers £2 10s to £3, purkers 30a to 48p, slips 20a to 295, weanera 10a to 15s.
