MANIAPOTO v. SOUTH AUCK- ., LAND An important match will be played to-morrow afternoon on the Te Kuiti Domain. The contesting teams will be the South Auckland touring team, which is on its way south on a three weeks' tour, and ttie Maniapoto representatives. A good game should result, and no doubt a large crowd will be in attendance. The following team has Deen selected to represent Maniapoto:—Backs, Tuheka, Matthews, Brown, T. Anderaon, Cole, J. ONGARUE v. TE KUITI

On Saturday tha Te Kuiti Club play Ongarua, th ß holders of the Puku* weka Shield having been challenged by Ongarue. It is expected that an interesting game will be witnessed, and the local team wlil have to put their beßt team in the field to uphold their honours. ..The following will represent le Kuiti:—Crean, Matthews, Scbfamm, V. Cole, N. Cole, Brumby, Hunt. McKinncn, S. Gray, Slane, D. Gray, Delaney, O'Connell, Shera, Kite. Emergencies, 3. Tub, McNamara and Houghton.
