« —■ PORTION JOINING WAIPA. Mr J. Oliver, on behalf of the settlers of Kakopuku, interviewed tho County Council on Monday evening with respect to the Beveranco of a portion of tho County with a view to joining Waipa County. Mr Oliver pointed out that all the interoats of tho settlers affected were with tho Waikato district. Tho area affected was 4400 acres. The chairman said tho Council had been into the mutter and were willing to meet the Bottlers. A resolution would be passed agreeing to grant tho request. On the motion of Cra Johnson end Potts the uecoßßary resolution was adopted.
