Lamb-rßetter demand for lightweight, dull sale for heavy carcases. Th* chief feature in the market is the demand for lightweights, even if the quality is very poor. Canterbury twos 6£d, heavyweight fours s|d. other than Canterbury 6 3-16 d for lightweight. Beef —Better demand for New Zealand hinds at 4|d and at 3§d, chilled hinds 6d, fores 3§d. Butter—The market is firmer. Danish, steady, 122s to 1245; New Zealand, nominal lis to 118s, do. unsalted 1163 to 120s; Australian, 106s to 108s; Siberian, in good demand, 102s to 104s; Irish creamery, 112s to 114s. . Cheese—The market is. steady. Canadian, quiet market, 63s to 645; New Zealand wnite, in good demand, 65s to 665, coloured 63s to 64s 6d; English, 64s 6d; English cheddar. firm market, 70s to 7s; Siberian, 52s to 565.
