The fixtures under the auspices of the MBfiiapoto Hugby Union for Saturday include Ongarue v. Te Kuiti on the local ground, and Otorohanga v. Neheneho at Otorahanga. The team selected to represent Te Kuiti as follows:—Full-back, Rowlands; three-quarters, Matthews, Crean, Cola; five-eighths, Boles, Kennedy; half Houghton; forwards, McKinnon, wing. S. Gray. Slane. Brumby, D. Gray, Delaney, Reid, Mears; emergencies, backs, Schramm, Rothery, Tinsley; forwards, Waters, Shepherd. Kite. MANIAPOTO RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the Maniapoto Rugby Union waa held last night, Mr G. Berry, president, occupying the chair. A number of playera for Ongarue were registered. The reports of the referees in the various matches wera received. In respect to the report of Mr Mora, who refereed in the Te Kuiti-Nehe-nehe match, it was decided that the secretary of the Nehenehe team be written to asking for an explanation of the conduct of members of team in behaving offensively to the referee at conclusion of the game. It was also decided to call one of the players before the Union at a meeting to be held on Tuesday next, the player in question to be suspended in the meantime. A iunior match between Nuhenehe and Otorohanga was arranged for Saturday nost. A long discussion took place concerning the registration of playera, motion to have the matter referred to the South Auckland Union being negatived.
