KING'S BIRTHDAY, JUNE 3rd. WAIKATO WINTER SHOW AT HAMILTON, June 2nd to 6th Inclusive. Excursion tickets win be issued from any station to any station on the North Island Main line and branches and from any station to any station on the South Island Main line and branches, including calling places on Lake Wakatipu, from MONDAY, June Ist, to WEDNESDAY, June 3rd, inclusive, available for return SATURDAY, June 20th. Excursion ticketß will be issued from Ohakune and intermediate Btations to Hamilton, from Tuesday, June 2nd, to Saturday, June 6th, inclusive, available for return until Saturday, June 20th. Excursion tickets will ba issued from Taumarunui and intermediate stations to Auckland on June sth and 6th, available for return until Saturday, June 20th. Holiday excursion tickets issued at any Btation north of Taumarunui will not be available by the Main Trunk express drains unless such tickets are for Taumarunui or south thereof. On June 2nd a extra express train will leave Wellington at 12.35 p.m., Onhango 12.5 a.m. on June 3rd, Taumarunui 12.53, Te Kuiti 3.7, Te Awamutu 3.59, and arrive Auckland 7.55 a.m.

On June 2nd a extra express train will lea/e Auckland at 10 4 p.m.. Te Awamutu 1.54 a.m. on June 3rd, Te Kuiti 3.3, Taumarunui 5.23, Owhango 6.12, Raurimu 6.48, and arrive Wellington 5.46 p.m. Paassngers from the above-named stations—for Waiouru excepted--mußt travel by the extra express trains. The ordinary 11.50 a.m., WellingtonAuckland and the 9.10 p.m., Auck-land-Wellington express trainß of June 2nd wlil not stop between Palmerston North and Mercer to pick up passengers. On June 3rd, special passenger train leaves Te Kuiti at 5.0 a.m., Otorohanga 5.32, Te Awamutu 6.11, Ohaupo 6.28, thence to Auckland arriving racecourse about 10.0 a.m. Return train leaves Auckland 10.0 p.m., Te Kuiti arrive 4.15 a.m. on June 4th. From June 2nd to June 6th, inclusive, the usual afternoon goods train from Frankton to Te Kuiti will have passenger accommodation attached, and will leave Hamilton at 5.10 p.m. For further particulars see handbills. I HEREBY give notice that the term of appointment of Mr Charles James Ryan to the Taranaki Land Board will expire on the Ist August, 1914, and nominations for the election of a member to fill the Vacancy will be received at this office up to 5 p.m. on FRIDAY, June 19th, 1914. £ No person shall be eligible for election unless ha is nominated in writing by at least two lessees entitled to vote, and the nomination paper bearing candidate's consent ia received by me before nominations are closed.
