TE KUITI CLUB. A special meeting of the Te Kuiti Football Cltib wss held in the Chronicle office on Wednesday evening last. The Ground Committee reported that they had selected a portion of Mr Somerville's property opposite the Domain as being the most suitable ground to play on until such tinje as the Domain is fit for play. The chairman reported that he had Been Mr Somerville in the matter, and that gentleman had very kindly consented to allow the club the use of the ground. It was resolved that a sub-comiEittee from the T* Kuiti and Nehenehe clufcs meet on the ground at an early date to make final arangements with regard to laying out the ground, etc.

Resolved that the club colours be black and white noops (narrow) and dark pants. It h hoped that members will turn out in uniform this season as not on'y does a team look very much better in uniform colours, but in fairness to the referee thi3 should be done.

Twenty more names were handed in for registration.

The hope was expressed that the junior competition would this year be carried out in a better manner than last year. A number of juniors have handed in their names for registration, and if thos3 wishing to play will hand in their names to the secretary, it will enable the committee to deal with the junior compstUions at an early date.
