HEAVY BLOW AT TAVIUNI. By Telegraph—Press Association.— Oopyrignt Suva, Friday, Wireless reports have been received in Suva that the R.M.s, Ventura, from Sydney to San Francisco, was severely buffeted by a huricane two hundred and fifty miles from the group. Advices from the Island of T»Viuni report; a heavy blow, with ten incnes of rain, last night. No damage is reportod from the island. Suva is threatened by the hurricane, and alarm signals have been hoisted. The glass is steadily falling, indicating the approach of the disturbance.
