DEPORTED STRIKE LEADERS.

A hundred prominent Labourites banqueted the men in the strangers' dining room at the Houbo of Commons. The banquet was private, arid passed off without incident. The rumour is current that the deported men have entered an appeal before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Capetown, Thursday. A bill providing for a maintenancce of public safety in times of actual or apprehended disturbance has been red first time in the House of Assembly. IMMEDIATE RETURN SUGGESTED. Received this day, 8.50 a.m. London, Friday. Bain and some of the other deporteda favour immediately booking passages for South Africa. Poutsma and three others desire to Wait, hoping the position will become quieter and the Union Government less insistent on their exclusion.
