THE PRIME MINISTER.
HEALTH ALMOST RESTORED. Wellington, Monday. The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. W. F. Maasey, almost restored tocomplete health, left on Saturday night for Auckland where he stays about a'week, but does not intend to undertake any business there. Discussing his illness, Mr Massey said, although he is 57 years of age he has never before been confined to bed for a single day. He is accompanied by Mrs Massey, and has been ordered to do nothing but recuperate his health, a medical firman which he intends to rigidly adhere to. It is likely that he may spend part of the week or ten days he will be north in a visit to Rotorua. Upon his return to Wellington the Premier will convene a conference of harbour boards, the object of which is to devise a better system of employing men on the waterfront at the chief ports.
