An elderly man walking along the track saw a man crouching near the line. The man fled at the approach of the newcomer. Feeling suspicious the pedestrian searched the vicinity and found twelve plugs of gelignite with detonators attached placed on the line. Ho kicked the bundle off just as the express, travelling fast on the down grade, came along. The line; are now being patrolled, and the drivers are taking special precautions.
