ARMED WITHRE VOL VERS. SPECIAL CONSTABLE'S BADGE. [HY TI'XWJBAI'ir.—J'KKSS ASSOCIATION. J Auckland, Ttiid Day. A Henßational arrest yesterday of a youth named Charles George Chatfleld, wearing a special constable's badge. A party of specials questioned him regarding his buna fides. It is alleged Chatfield drew a revolver and pointed it at Lynch, one of the specials. A struggle followed and the youth was overcume. It was then found he was in possession of another revolver and several cartridges. He was charged with attempting to discharge a revolver at Cecil Lynch.
