BOWLING.
The committee of the Te Kuiti Bowling Club met in the Chronicle offic9 on Wednesday evening last, Mr A. Julian presiding. A large amount of general business was transacted.
An invitation was received from the Paeroa Club to their opening-day function. This was accepted with thanks.
It was resolved that the official opening of the club take place on October 16th. The matter of a Hub uniform was discussed, and it was decided to leave the'matter over until next meeting. Several accounts were passed for payment. It was reported that the green was looking very well indeed, and that at an early date it would be it: splendid order for play. It is anticipated that the coming season will be a most successful one in every way.
It was resolved that invitations be pent to neighbouring clubs to attend the official opening.
