A meeting of the directors of the Aria Dairy Company was held on Saturday last. There were present— Messrs C. J. Riddle (chairman). Nelson, S. Riddle, Towr.shend, P. D. Smyth, Petrie and secretary. Mr Corn's sent an apology. The arrangements concerning the carriage of cream along the Totoro rued were completed, and the Pariheka agreement was passed It was decided that Mr Ward communicate with the Pio Pio company concerning fat pigs. The question of connecting the factory by telephone was left in abeyance at present. It was decided that in future no shareholder be paid a bonus on any supply in excess of a quantity equivalent to ISOlbs of butter fat for every share held by him. provided that before May 31st in each year every shareholder be given an opportunity to take up additional shares to a number corresponding with his supply during the past season. Mr Barnett. of Waitewhena, addressed the meeting on the question of a coal supply, and it was decided to order a quantity on trial. The question of the KaeaeaWaitewhena telephone connection came up again, and Mr Barnett threw fresh light on the matter by pointing out it was very hard to get a connection via.Ongarue owing to the congestion of the line. It was determined that the land round the manager's house having been surveyed it should be fenced, ploughed and grassed. The first month's butter output was sold to Collet and Co. at 12Ad.
