FRIDAY, Ist AUGUST,

(Before Messrs F. H. Sims and J. Tammadge, J's.P.) A Maori named Puna was fined the sum of 5s for being drunk and on a second charge of using obscene language was fined 15s. Hukarere Paterangi, for being drunk was fined 5s and a man named Thomas Grogan, with several aliases, was fined 20a or seven dayß in Auckland prison for being drunk, this being hiß second offence.
