TE KUITI BOWLING AND CROQUET CLUB.
The committee of the above club met in the Chronicle office on Thursday evening. Mr Julian presided.
Matters of general interest were discussed at length. A letter was received from the secretary of the South Auckland Bowling Associaton re repreaenta tion at the meeting to be held at Te Aroha on August 2nd.—On the motion of Messrs Walsh and Matthew it was resolved that information be obtained as to whether voting could be done by proxy. Mr C. F. Verrall, of Kawakawa, wrote asking for a copy of the local rules. — Resolved that same be forwarded.
Mr Power reported that the bowling green was in a splendid condition, and that everything pointed to the possibility of making an early start this season.
