FOOTBALL.

FIXTURES FURTHER POSTPONED. The Management Committee of the Maniapoto Rugby Union met in the Chronicle office last evening. After general discussion it was resolved that all union matches be suspended until further notice. It was resolved that the Waipa and King Country Unions be informed that at present it was impossible for teams to travel to fulfill engagements. It was decided to ask the secretary to write to the management of the Rotorua Union thanking them for the hospitality extended to the Maniapoto team when visiting Rotorua, and stating that this Union looks forward to a return match.
