TAUMARUNUI ELECTORATE.

MR WILSON ON TOUR. Mr C. K. Wilson, member for the district, returned to Te Kuiti on Thursday last, after an eight days' trip in the backblocks. Mr Wilson states" that he was well pleased with the general progress made in the districts he passed through and the manner in which the road works are being pushed ahead. The member was also particularly struck with the good appearance of stock generally seen throughout his tour. Mr Wilson's intention is to start next week on a tour through the Okau, Uruiti, and Mokau districts, and to nroceed then to Awakino, where the new post office will be officially opened on June lltb. He also intends to visit the Kururau road and Te Mapara districts before Parliament sits. Mr Wilson will be in Wellingon this week attending to departmental business.
