Tho majority of the crew yesterday proceeded tn Victoria Park, where a Royal salute was given in honour of the King's accession.

A batch of Te Kuiti school children to-day proceeded to Auckland for the purpose of visiting New Zealand's gift to the Empire. The children were under the charge of Mr Smerdon, assistant-master, and will bo joined by other parties at Hangatiki and Otorohanga. A full clay will be passed in Auckland, and the return journey will be made on Friday.
