CURRENT TRIED TO-NGHT

The installation of the electric lighting plant at Te Kuiti is now completed aB far as is possible until the engine now on the way from England arrive?. The temporary plant has been placed in position, and the current will be turned on for tho first time this evening. At present it will only be possible to utilise the current or the street lights, and poaBibly a few private connections, but in a very short time the supply will be ample for all requirements.
