NEW MANAGER APPOINTED

It i 8 definitely announced that Mr Ernest H. Hiley, divisional goods manager on the North Eastern Railway, England, has been appointed manager of the New Zealand railways. The final selection was made at a meeting of Cabinet yesterday afternoon. Mr Hiley is 13 years of age. The salary attached to the position is £3OOO a year.
