Joseph Gobbie, who was arrested on a charge of drunkenness, after a determined resistance, was placed in a motor car and was being carried to the police station. He attempted to jump from the car, and the constable seized his arm. Gobble's leg was caught in the wheel and was broken. Gobbie was removed to the hospital.
