SENSATIONAL OCCURRENCE.
FIGHT ENDS FATALLY. THE SURVIVOR ARRESTED. CHARGED WITH MURDER. [HY TKIJCGKAIMI. I'K.KSS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. Two men named Manuel Santos and Harold Gladstone Brown engaged in a fight on the Harbour Board's piledriving afternoon. According to the story of an eyewitness he saw two men sparring on deck, and thought at first they were not in earnest. It was discovered later the fight was a deadly earnest one. Brown eventually got the better of Santo 3 and .struck the latter a heavy blow precipitating him into the water. After further fighting Santos was eventually rescued by his friends, but died shortly after in the engine room. Brown has been arrested on a charge j of wilful murder. j Blow, blow thou wintry wind!
