ASSOCIATION FORMED. The formation of a Ratepayers' and Citizens' Assoication reached definite shape last evening, when a fair number of citizens attended at the Municirules of the Otahuhu Rate payers' Association Were read and adopted. . . A The following were appointed officers Sfor the ensuing year-Presi-dent, Mr J. H. Trinnear; vice-presi-dents, Messrs W. McNaught, F. Langaton and H. Jane; committee, Messrs A Wright Warner, Ray, P. Cotter, Turner, Smith and J. Hacket; secretary and treasurer, Mr Duncanson; auditor, Mr Blackler. . Two members of the association were appointed to attend council meetings, and the members of the asociation are to be encouraged to attend the meetings of the council, and efforts are to be made to stir up the interest of .the townspeople in affairs municiP3 lt was reported that several gentlemen will be seeking the support of voters at the forthcoming annual election." <.•-•„ +u D Any person desirous of joining the association may leave their name with Mr Duncanson secretary, or any mem ber of the executive. -
