Hardy will again stand for the council, while the names of Messrs A. F. Howarth, R. H. Webber, D J. Young and MJ. Jones, are mentioned as likely candidates. Up to the pre sent no other candidates have been definitely mentioned, but there are indications that the field will be numerically strong on election day.
