WHITE SUPREMRCY IN PACIFIC.
By Telegraph-—Press Association.—OopyrigJit Sydney, This Day. Senator Pearce, speaking at the Dockyard Employees' picnic, said: "We intend to allow the question of naval development rest where it is. We are only on the fringe of that future which will be big. Apparent to anyone who looks ahead we must be predominating white race in the South Pacific, including New Zealand we are the only white race. If whites are to play any part in the history of the Pacific that part must be played well by Australasia. They had tremendous responsibilities, but he believed Australasia was capable of rising and fulfilling that destiny.
