MORE LABOUR TROUBLES.

[BY TELEGKAI'H.—mKSS ASSOCIATION.] Lyttelton, This Day.

On Monday the chief engineer of the Mararoa had reason to discharge one of the firemen. A foreign member of the Seamen's Union applied for the position, and was engaged, whereupon nine of the firemen and trimmers, objecting to work with a foreigner, gave notice and left the vessel. No difficulty was experienced in filling their places and the Mararoa sailed at har usual time last night.
