The annual sale of Work, held by the St. Luke's ladies.' guild, is advertised to be held in the Public School grounds on Thursday, January 23rd. Contributions for the stalls will be received at the vicarage up to the day of sale; and on the day at the grounds. Tha ladies confidently look for support and help from all members of the. Church of England, and their friends, 'as well as the public generally. A strong committee of local sportmen is in charge of. the sports and side, shows, and a very enjoyable, afternoon , and evening entertainment is offered i to all who attend.
