Excellent bush burns are reported from the Mangaotaki district, Mr J. Wall being among, those fortunate enough to take advantage of the opportunity, Last- season Mr Wall found it impossible to fire his felled bush amounting to about 1500 acres. This season made the desired opportunity and a; lr|tei*dija burn is the result. A Considerable area of Mr R. Body's "bush adjoining was burnt at the same time, the result being highly satißfactory.
