HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

The commmittee of the Te Kuiti Horticultural Society met in the Chronicle office on Wednesday evening laai. Further arrangements were made in connection with the forthcoming show which will be held on Thursday, December 12th. Mr Lippiatt wrote stating that he was prepared to act as judge and that he would also send a large exhibit of roses. Resolved that the Municipal Band be asked to play outside the Town Hall on show night. The secretary reported that he had received a number of enquiries for schedules and that he had still plenty on hand for anyone desirous of ob taining same. Resolved that the next meeting be held on Monday, 9th inst.
