THE RETURN DEBATE.

TAUMARUNUI v. TE KUITI. The return debate between Taumarunui and Te Kuiti Debating Societies has been fixed to take place at Taumarunui on Thursday evening, November 21st. The debate will be followed by a supper tendered by the Mayor of Taumarunui to which the following have been invited: —Mr C. K. Wilson, M.P., Major Lusk, Messrs Foy, and N. C. Matthew (the three judges), the Mayor and town clerk of Te Kuiti, the chairman and clerk of Kaitieke and Waitomo Counties, the chairman of Manunui Town Board, the engineer in charge of the Stratford-Taumarunui railway works, and thn members of Te Kuiti Debating Society.
