CURLE'S PICTURES

To-night at the Skating Rink the above company will screen a very superior programme, the main feature nf which will be a remarkable dramatic study, "The Old Kent Road," with Maurice Costello, the picture favourite, in the leading role. This grand production is supported by a monster programme, including "The School Teacher and the Waif," an drama; "Fire and Straw," ' The Hoyden," "Pathe Gazette," containing the latest topical events, and two interesting travel subjects entitled "The Life of a Racing Pigeon," and "At the Lake Junsan." There ia aiso a fair sprinkling of comics, which are bright and humorous and free from vulgarity. The whole programme forms one of the best brought to Te Kuiti, and can with confidence be recommended to picture lovers. To-morrow evening the company will produce another excellent programme, which will be bubbling over with sensational dramas, exhilarating comedies, and topical and scenic pictures of the very highest order.

HAYWARDS' PICTURES. A complete change of programme takes place next Friday evening at the Town Hall. The star drama is splendidly coloured historical narrative, depicting the stirring times of Italy in 1597 with court intrigues and deailngs of nobles. The title is The Red Falcon." A Vitagraph drama of exceptional claim is "Their Golden Anniversary." a story full of pathos with Maurice Costello in the lead. "The Cattle King's Daughter" is a wetsern story in which a brave girl s act of sympathy acts as a chain and enables her escape from a perilous situation. "Oppossum Hunting is a scenic study, as also is Cote D'Azur." A bunch of merriment is contained in "Love Finds Out the Way," "The Animal's Friend," and "How Toto Exacts Rent." The topical news is supplied by the Pathe Gazette. The whole is one of sustained interest.
