OBITUARY.

MR GEORGE OTWAY. Information waa received by cable from Dublin on Monday conveying news of the death of Mr George Otway, who was well-known throughout this district. iUarly this year Mr Otway went Home in order to undergo an operation for an internal complaint. The operation was successfully performed, but after a time complications ensued and a second operation was deemed imperative. Unfortunately the patient did not recover from the second operation, and sank gradually. Mr Otway's death will be deeply regretted by a • wide circle o£ King Country friends, who were fondly hoping to be able to welcome him back to New Zealand. His geniality and personal qualities generally gained ior Mr Otway the highest esteem and respect of his friends and he will be genuinely mourned.
