ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

SUFFERING FROM STRAIN. [by telegraph.—-pbkss association.] Thames, This Day. A man named Frank Corkran, aged forty, failed to return home last night. This morning his wife received a letter by post stating that he had strained himself and the pain was unendurable. He would be found on the hill. A search party discovered him almost in extremis with an empty bottle of lysol alongside him. He was conveyed to the hospital and is in a .critical condition.
