DECREASE OVER THE DOMINION.

AN INCREASE IN AUCKLAND

Auckland, Thursday

The annual sheep return for the. year ended April 30th is just published. It shows a deccrease over the whole Dominion of 245,973. Auckland and were the only districts to increase, the former from 1 ,'M60.00 in the previous year to 1,259,577 in 1912, and the latter from •1,(107,309 to 4,655,939. Decreases of 61,756 in the Napier-GisDorne district, and 44,497 in the Canterburv-Kaikoura district are shown.
