BOWLING.

The committee of the Te Kuiti Bowling and Croquet Club met in the Chronicle office on Thursday evening. The iollowing new members were elected:—Dr Mcßae, Messrs Langston, Fenton, J. A. Johnstone, H. Foster, P. Mora. J. F. Walsh, F. Lipscombe, F. E. Lamb, W. McDonald, R. S. McDonald and H. Boscawen. Mr J. Mclndoe wrote tendering his resignation as a member of the club on account of his leaving the district. —The resignation was accepted with regret and the secretary was instructed to write to Mr Mclndoe expressing the club's regret at receiving his resignation. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr J. F. Walsh for a donation of lime for top-dressing the bowling green. After general discussion on matters connected with the forth coming dance, the meeting adjourned.
