HAYWAED'S PICTURES

The new series of Hayward'a Pictures will be shown at the Town Hall -on Monday next, including a fine panotamc view of "Historic London." This picture deals with every detail of •some of the renowned and romantic spots in the world's history. The associations of England's long line of Icings and queens. "A Ship Boy's Grit" is said to be a masterpiece of dramatic construction, embracing stirring adventures. "Detective Roberts' Peril," and "The Girl and Her Trust," are two good dramatics, the latter being a sensational railway adventure. The scenic picture is descriptive of the "Palace of Fontainbleau." "Kittens" is a delightful animal study. The comics include "Lea as a 'Phone Girl" and "The Engagement Ring." The latest Pathe Gazette deals with topical news of general interest.

CURLE'S PICTURES. The large audience that a ssembled at the Alexandria Rink on Wednesday evening were well repaid for their patronage. This firm's pictures are steadily growing in popularity and the programme submitted on this occasion will tend to increase it. Several good dramas were screened, but the star of the evening was "Saved by her Lion," the acting, scenery and training of the animals being wonderful. Several good educational films were also shown. Next Wednesday the star picture will be a rattling good detective story, "Tom Butler," produced by the Eclair firm, of Zigomar fame.
