TE KUITI HOSPITAL.

A very enhusiasttic meeting of the ladies was held in the Borough Chambers last Thursday afternoon, at which meeting the Mayor (Mr E. H. Hardy), Messrs Scholes and. Boddie addressed the meeting, giving very valuable information. The ladies present formed themselves' into a strong committee to arrange the refreshments and assist the objects of the Hospital Fund Bali generally. Mrs Langston. of the railway refreshment rooms, has kindly promised all sandwiches for the ball gratis, and Mr Grinter will have boys selling drinks, fruit, etc., on the ground, all profits being handed to the fund.
