MINISTERIAL VISIT.
Arrangements in connection with the visit of the Hon. W. Fraser, Minister for Public Works, are now well in hand, snd everything should be in readiness for the reception on Wednesday next. The Minister, who will be accompanied by Mr C. K. Wilson, member for the district, is expected to arrive at Te Kuiti by the morning express, > and providing the weather is suitable he will be taken for a drive on the Te Kuiti-Awakino road.
Deputations will be received djrrin? the afternoon, and a banquet will ba tendered the Minister in the evening.
Mr Hardy, Mayor, regrets that there was a misunderstanding abo-.it the meeting called for last evening. As be did not : see the advertisement he did not attend. The deputation committee met this morning and decided to hold a public meeting on Monday, 22nd, at the Borough Chambers, at 8 o'clock to discuss matters in connection with the visit. All are welcome.
