TE KUITI LIBRARY COMMITTEE.

A meeting of the Library Committee was held in the Council Chambers on Wednesday evening. There were present Messi'3 Lusk (chairman), Young, Tammadge, Miss Mailing, and Mr A. S. Gresham.

The quarterly dates for payment of subscriptions were fixed as January Ist, April Ist, July and October Ist.

A sub-c.ommittee was appointed consisting of Messrs Lusk, Matthew and Gresham to attend to procuring new books and periodicals.

It was decided that the maximum number of books allowed to each subscriber at one time be two, and that no book should be retained for a longer period than fourteen days. It was also decided to obtain a pair of steps for the library.

The chairman was authorised to obtain the necessary books for the library.
