RESULT OF ELECTION.

The poll in connection with the election of five members of the Otorohanga Town Council was held on Wednesday. Considerable interest was manifested in by the residents, the declaration of th 9 poll being awaited with eagerness. A pleasing feajrifs in connection with the election H that Mr Vicary, who has been indisposed for some time, met with sufficiently strung support to place him at the head of the poll. The new council will consist of Messrs Vicary, Hosking, Elliott, Gardiner and Ormsby.
