Own Correspondent

A well attended general meeting of the Mangapehi Rugby Football Club was held on Friday last. Mr Hughes presided. It was decided to carry on the club this season, and to affiliate with thn Maniapoto Rugby Union. The subscription per member was fixed at 2s. Resolved that the jerseys be changed from maroon to all black. Mr W. O. Irvine, who has given great support to the club in the past, was enthusiastically elected a life member. A practice match will be played against Parikura and Tiroa combined on Saturday next. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr C. K.
