EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY

Te Kuiti patrons were again treated on Monday night to another of those excellent productions that characterised the entertainments given by the Empire Company. The pictures shown were of the very highest order of merit, and were received by the large audience present with the approval they richly desreved. The star picture of the programme was, perhaps, "The Battle of Trafalgar," and it is safe to say that nothing better of its kind has been shown here before. Splendidly acted, and in every instance, historically correct, it aroused the enthusiasm of the audience to a very big pitch. The final scpne, the death of Nelson, was full of pathos. All the other items were faultlessly screened and thoroughly enjuyed by all present. On Monday evening next another splendid programme will he shown.
