RENEWAL OF THE CONFLICT. By Telegraph.—Press Association.-Copyright Pekin, Monday. Dr Sun-yat-sen has iasued a remarkable Note to the Powers stigmatising Yuan-shih-kai as the champion of the Manchus. Wu-ting-fang, another of the Republican leaders, has telegraphed to Pekin demandng the Throne's abdication, otherwise hostilities will result immediately. The Republican general, Li-yuan-heng, is preparing to lead the Wuchang revolutionaries northwards. Yuan-shih-kai is endeavouring to secure an extension of the armistice. Seven thousand of Yuan-shih-kai's troops have reached Pekin, thereby removing the Manchu menace. The Boxer leader, Tichliang, there upon fle3 to Tientsin. Advanced posts numbering 1000 men on each side were engaged in conflict on Saturday along the TientsinPukow railway. The revolutionaries retreated, abandoning their camp.
