WOMAN'S CHARRED REMAINS. THE HUSBAND MISSING. »>• Telcgrauh.—Press Association- -nonyriKnt Sydney, Monday. A young couple named Mr and Mrs Ball, who recently arrived from England, and who have been employed in an hotel at Bingara, have been missing for five days. To-day the charred "remains of the woman were found in the bush, and there were evidences that she had been killed by blows and an Bttempt made to destroy the traces of the tragedy. The husband is missing. THE HUSBAND ARRESTED. Sydney, This Day. Ball was arrested on a charge of murdering his wife aboard the steamer Star of Scotland, lying in the harbour, he had Becured a billet as trimmer. The steamer departs for London to-day. Ball worked his passage to Australia a short time ago and utilised the discharge then obtained in securing the position.
