CHARGES AGAINST INSPECTOR. [hy Ti'XJ-:<;n.MMi.—i'Ukss association.) Wellington, This Day. The City Council had the charges against tramway inspector Fuller before it last night. He was represented by counsel and, the men having refused to take part in the proceedings, made a statement through counsel in answer to the charges. Speaking generally, counsel said that of some charges th«y knew nothing; some they believed to bo inventions, and some they did not understand. Upon the charges of gambling Fuller said he never denied he sometimes made a net, and seven years ago he was once suspended for a day. The matter was adjourned.
