DOMINION REVENUE.
A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE. [hy tki.k<;baph.—i'Ri-;ss association.] Wellington, This Day. The revenue to December shows an increase of £598,884, and compared with the year ending December 1910, of £960,(555. The Premier says the last quarter is usually one of the best, and hopes the increase will continue. Since the election there has been a clear tightness in money, but the satisfactory condition of the revenue ought to allay any uneasiness. The totals for nine months are: —1911: £7,747,467, against £7,148,583. for the corresponding period of 1910. Every branch of revenue shows an increase.
