OHURA DAIRY FACTORY.

The usual monthl," meeting of the Ohura Dairy Factory Company was held last week. - There were present Messrs W. Sandison (chairman), J. L. Robinson, D. J. Bruce and R. McKeown. It was decided to pay Tatu and Tokirima settlers extra to deliver their cream at Mr Carolyn's on the Tokirima road, and also to ptsy the driver at the southern end 10s per day. It was resolved to pay shareholders who were suppliers Sid per lb and non-shareholding suppliers Sd for the month of November. The butter fat for the month was 123,591!b5, an increase of 361 lbs over the'corresponding month of last year. Mention was made that the company's butterwas being retailed at ls2d per lb in Mangaroa, though it was delivered to retailers at lid per lb. The secretary wa3 authorised to arrange with an agent to sell the product at Is per lb. Accounts amounting to £852 lis 8d were passed for payment.

A PRESENTATION. Before the business of the above meeting commenced the directors presented Mr and Mrs W. Woods with a marble clock in recognition of Mr Woods' faithful services as a director of the company for four years. Mr Sandison (chairman) made the presentation and in highly eulogistic terms referred to Mr Woods' untiring energy as a director. He also made kindly references to Mrs Woods who on many occasions had been verykind and generous in her actions during the four years of her husband's position as a_director. Mr Woods feelingly replied and remarked that he had been taken by surprise. He had been a supplier from the start. He had decided to knockoff for a year or two as his place was not in proper order for milking.
