The Farmers' Co-Operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— On 15th we held our usual monthly Waihou stock sale, when the entry insisted of 971 sheep, 42 pigs, and 812 head of cattle, the latter including 250 of this season' 3 calves. Sheep were a little easier in price, pigs were at ridiculously high figures, and all classes of cattle sold -well Fat ewes made lis to 13a 7d, fat wethers 15% forward 4 tooth wethers 13s to 13s 6d, sound mouth ewes with lambs (all counted) 9s 9d,. weaner 14s to 235, best weaner calves 3Gs to 40s, others 20s to 325, yearling steers £3 to £3 ss, smaller steers £2 Is to £2 18s, 15 months Jersey cross heifers £4 10s, yearling fieffers £3 ss, smaller heifers £2 14s to £ 9 ITs 6d, well fattened steers medium weight £8 16s to £9 4s, light weight do. £8 Is, heavy fat -cows £6 5s to £7 Ts, lighter cows ■and heifers £5 to £5 15s, bulls *4 4s to £9 9s, 3 year steers in fresh £4l 2s 6d, good quality dairy heifers -Shorthorn cross £4 10s to £5, dairy
