WEDDING BELLS.

A quiet, but pretty wedding took place on the 4th inst, when Mary Eva, eldest daughter of Mr G. Churcher, of Glen-Lea, Paemako, was married to David, eldest son of Mr D. C. Anderson, Paemako. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Father Brennan. The bride, who was given away by her father, was dressed in a cream silktaffeta trimmed with silk overlace, and silk trimmings, and wore the orthodox wreath and veil. She was attended by her sister, Miss Ellena Churcher. who was attired in a cream taffeta, trimmed with overlace and silk trimmings. The bridegroom's presents to th« bride and bridesmaid were handsome gold brooches set with rubies and pearls. Mr R. Hill, of Mangaotaki, acted as best man. After the wedding breakfast photos were taken and the happy couple then left for their future home in the Mangaotaki Valley.
